Google today celebrates famous tabla player Lachhu Maharaj's introduction to the world commemoration, with a doodle.

born in 1944 as Laxmi Narayan Singh, Pandit Lacchu Maharaj has been the beneficiary of a few honors. The tabla maestro, who was raised in Varanasi, prepared under his dad, Vasudev Maharaj, and began performing in front of an audience from a genuinely youthful age.

 In spite of the fact that his ability was never questioned, the maestro did not discover much distinction amid his lifetime. It was his namesake and acclaimed kathak artist Lachhu Maharaj who got a large portion of the applause. Praising his 74th birth commemoration,

 Google on Tuesday paid tribute with a doodle of him on its landing page.

He was prepared under his dad Vasudev Maharaj. While preparing under the tutelage of his dad, he put his abilities to test and began performing since the beginning.

He had a place with the Banaras gharana what's more playing in traditional shows, he additionally played tabla for a few movies.

He was granted the 1957 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, the most astounding honor for performing specialists, presented by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama.
